Goodfellow is a tiny base in San Angelo, TX which is in the West Texas. If you aren?｢どｨび｢t from the area you are in for a rude awakening. The wind blows a lot, it is dry, dusty, and hot. What really makes your stay pleasant in this tiny town is your classmates (if you are here for training). The TLF?｢どｨび｢s are nice, and rent is very reasonable. San Antonio and Austin are only about 3 1/2 hours away. There is also a lake nearby that lots of people like to go to. The staff at Family Readiness are incredibly nice and helpful. I definitely recommend taking the incoming spouse class just so you can understand how the base operates and learn a bit more about the town.
